Understanding How Bans Work in Rival
Anti-cheat includes an AI-based stat ban system. This system works by checking and analyzing player statistics. Factors such as account age (fresh, botted, or aged accounts) can make a difference in ban likelihood.
Based on long-term observation and customer feedback, here are some suggestions to reduce the risk of getting banned:
Maintain a “legit” accuracy in all matches
By “legit” accuracy, we mean numbers close to the average accuracy of the top 500 players, not higher.
We have parsed a list of average accuracy stats for the top 500 players, and your stats should stay within that range. (you can check list below)
Play Tank/Healer until Diamond rank
In lower ranks, DPS players get banned more frequently.
Once you reach Diamond rank, bans for DPS players are much less common.
Avoid certain high-risk heroes in lower ranks
Hela, Hawkeye, and Black Widow are considered very risky to cheat with at lower ranks.
What is “Accuracy Dumping”
It's when you purposely miss your shots. For example, after you respawn and are going to the objective, you shoot at structures to lower your accuracy rating.
Also, don't forget about critical hit accuracy for heroes who can land headshots. You should generally keep this stat below 20%.
HWID Ban Info & Spoofing Guide – Marvel Rivals
If you’ve been banned, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re HWID banned.
🔍 How to check for HWID ban:
Create a new account and login, If you see a message like: “Your device has committed violations” when logging in — that’s a HWID ban.
Important: Logging into a new account while HWID banned won’t get that new account banned — it simply won’t let you log in. Once you spoof your HWID, you’ll be able to log in again.
